Double Major Program in Philosophy
The double major program in philosophy aims at developing philosophical skills of successful students of other departments in order to enhance interdisciplinary studies. Nine required courses provide students with basic knowledge of history of philosophy which is essential for any philosophical study, techniques of correct reasoning, which is indispensable for any discipline, and fundamentals of philosophy of science. In addition, there are three elective courses in the program to allow students to focus on a field that is directly related to their own major program so that the students´ understanding of that field will be broadened. Therefore, the double major program in philosophy could be recommended to all students with interest in interdisciplinary studies involving philosophy.Compulsory Courses
