Course Content
To introduce biology, biotechnology, biochemistry and medical informatics graduate students to the field of structural, comparative and functional genomics (transcriptomics and proteomics) and their high throughput tools. Overview of genomes and genome projects, physical mapping of genome, sequencing platforms and technologies, annotation, metogenomics, comparative and evolutionary genomics, array- and nonarray-based transcriptomics, epigenomics and proteomics by an integrated approach.
