Course Content

This course covers the theoretical foundations and practical techniques used in the cryptanalysis of stream ciphers. Topics include linear and nonlinear feedback shift registers (LFSRs and NFSRs). correlation attacks. algebraic attacks. fast correlation and distinguishing attacks. and time-memory-data trade-offs. Students analyze classical and modern stream ciphers. exploring structural weaknesses and attack methodologies to evaluate cipher security.
