Course Content
This course covers statistical testing methodologies used to evaluate the quality of randomness in cryptographic systems. It includes design and implementation of tests within standard frameworks such as NIST STS. Dieharder. and TestU01. Students will study randomness properties of PRNGs. cipher outputs. and cryptographic keys. learning techniques to detect biases. correlations. and structural weaknesses. The course emphasizes interpreting test results and applying statistical analysis to ensure cryptographic robustness and compliance with industry standards.
