Course Content

This course aims to provide the graduating students. i.e. potential entrepreneurs, academic entrepreneurs, and intrapreneurs with the fundamentals they need in order to become entrepreneurial. Whether they are setting up their own start-up as an entrepreneur, commercialise their research with an academic institution as an academic entrepreneur, or promote innovation within an established company as an intrapreneur, this course provides the fundamentals of innovation and entrepreneurship. The course content includes introductory information into the concept of innovation and entrepreneurship, methodologies and tools, design thinking and human-centred design, ecosystems and value approach, intellectual property law and management, and technology transfer and commercialization.
