Course Content
This course introduces basic theories, concepts, methods and epistemology of social psychology. Social psychology is presented as having an interdisciplinary potential by bridging the study of psychological processes with the social reality within which individuals and groups are embedded in. Students will be acquainted with dominant and critical ways of thinking within social psychology. Introduction to social psychological thinking, social cognition, attribution, self and identity, persuasion and attitude change, group processes and intergroup relations are some of the topics to be covered.
