Course Content

Frequency distributions, measures of central tendency and variability, basic theorems of probability, discrete probability distributions, important continuous distributions (normal, Poisson, Chi 2, F), sampling distributions, correlation and analysis of variance, introduction to estimation (point and interval) and hypothesis testing, optimality of estimators
