Differential equations with deviating arguments: examples and applications. Integrable delay differential equations. The method of steps is the primary method for the qualitative analysis. Existence and uniqueness theorems. Classification: delay. advanced. and neutral types of differential equations with deviating arguments. Piecewise constant deviation of argument as a powerful instrument for modelling and analysis. Linear systems with constant and variable coefficients and deviation of arguments. Stability methods of investigation: linearization and Lyapunov's second method. Periodic systems and solutions.
