Course Content

This course provides and overview of the environments, markets, institutions, challenges, strategies, and operations of international and cross-cultural business; the globalization of business and associated challenges posed for the competitiveness of the modern enterprise; and the orientations, strategies, and tactics appropriate for international business success. Within this context theories of international trade and investment, political and legal systems and government interventions in international business, international monetary systems and balance of payments, foreign exchange and international financial markets, strategy and opportunity assessment, entering and operating in international markets, financial management and accounting in the global firm will be covered.
