Epistemological and methodological variety of research in the field of computational design. Technocentric and interdisciplinary/ multidisciplinary nature of research frameworks. Diversity of emerging approaches adding to and/or extending established research paradigms/ traditions. Major theories, models and approaches operating in the field, qualitative and quantitative approaches, formal and abductive methods.
