Course Content

The development of domestic architecture in theancient Greek and Roman periods will be covered in a contextual approach. Forms of private life and social practices as well as themes like status, gender and privacy will be considered to emphasize the relationship between the architectural organization of houses and social norms, attitudes and changes.
