Course Content

For some, the truth of development economics lies somewhere between distinctively economic forces that express themselves in multiple equilibria and the possibility of decoupling in less advanced parts of the world given existing economic conditions. As a seminar on post-war development economics and the economics of Latin American development, this course will explore principal models of economic development and some of the time specific observations on the economies of the region in such models.
