Course Content

This course aims to offer an examination of changing Amerikan political,economic,social and cultural patterns.While it surveys the history of North Amerika from colonization through the period of nation-state building of Canada,the U.S and Mexico,it also focuses on relationships among three countries in terms of politics,economy and culture.In this sense,it also covers contemporary issues in North Amerika,like NAFTA, migration, trade and cultural issues.Placing the are in its historical context and covering contemporary issues, this course also aims to provide a discussion of future trends in North Amerika.
