Course Content

This course aims at providing beginning students of Korean studies with diverse characteristics of the Korean culture. For example, this course intends to cover topics from the traditional lifestyle to the present changes in the korean society such as multi-cultural families, transnational fashion, and the influence of hte korean culture. By attending this course, students are expected to understand the cahnges and diversities in the cultural aspects in the Korean society. Considering the characteristics of this course, this course will depend on the frequent use of multimedia such as TV programs, DVDs, slides, and photos as well as normal lecturers by the instructor.
