Course Content
The aim of the course is to provide an in depth understanding and analysis of the common agricultural policy (CAP), industry policy and R&D policy of the Eropean Union. Common agricultural policy part covers the original CAP, all of its reforms and WTO aspects. Industry policy part covers entrepreneurship and SME policy and sectoral policy, with special emphasis on declining sectors and industries to be developed. R&D policy of the EU is analyzed with special emphasis on its contribution to the competitiveness of EU industry. All topics are discussed by considering their implications for Turkey.
