Course Content
The course focuses on the strategic role of information systems in organization. It has a managerial, rather than technical perspective on how to generate business value from informational systems investments. Various types of information systems and their applications in different decision making environments, their impact on firm performance, strategic issues in the planning, development and implementation of systems, the opportunities and threats of e-Business are among the topics covered.
