Course Content
As the second part of a two-course sequence, this course is an introduction to the study of mediated communication in a digital age. It surveys the major topics in the media and cultural studies, and introduces students to various perspectives in this field. The purpose pf the course is to provide an overview of the field of media and cultural studies, which would be very helpful for the students to get familiar with the basic concepts, major approaches, and issues of debate in this field.
