Course Content
Strategies to teach mathematics effectively in an online distance environment and the ways that constitute productive learning within such an environment. Review teaching and learning mathematics online, define challenges of teaching mathematics via online learning, describe valid mathematics assessment tools suitable for online distance education, and discuss effective uses of tools and technologies in online mathematics instruction. Develop ideas related to collaboration and productive discourse for online mathematics education. Define the interactive learning environment models for mathematics teacher development in online distance mathematics education.
