Course Content
Models of disciplinary integration, the nature of STEM disciplines, and the philosophy of STEM education. Implications for interdisciplinary teaching and learning. The practices of inquiry, modeling, and engineering design in STEM instruction. Current research on inquiry in STEM. Evaluation of curriculum, research, and theories of learning in the context of STEM education. STEM-focused lesson design and microteaching.
