Course Content

The big idea of the course has been set on the fact that tendency for sustainable lifestyle begins in very early ages and teachers are the key factors in disseminating the concept. The course is comprised of two parts as to help ECE teachers and/or researchers gain an insight on the concept of sustainable development and to develop their capacity for producing ESD based materials as well as encourage to conduct research on ESD for ECE. Accordingly, at the end of the course students are expected to gain a perspective on the concept of sustainable developments as well as education for sustainable development and they are also expected to gain the necessary skills to design either a lecture or a research proposal on ESD and ECE.
