Course Content

The course aims to identify and analyze various factors contributing to Turkeys foreign policy orientation. While the main focus of this course is the political dynamics and issues of Turkish foreign policy after World War II, the problems and determinants of Turkish foreign policy between 1919-1945, with reference to past experiences and geopolitical imperatives placing certain constraints on the states decision makers, will also be briefly discussed.
