Introduction to excited states (ES), ES lifetimes and reactions. Techniques in continuous and flash photoloysis. Kinetic of photophysical processes. Charge transfer photochemistry. Substitutional Photochemistry of First Row and Heavier Transition Elements. Photochemistry of Carbonyl Complexes. Type of laser used in TRO and TRIR techniques.
