Course Content

Up-to-date personality theories, empirical tindings, and assessments with a particular focus on the social psychology and work psychology literatures are covered. Topics include, but are not limited to trait theories, the social-cognitive approach, aberrant personality models, group differences, implicit personality, cognitive biases, research methods used in studying personality, pros and cons of various assessment systems, and malleability of personality with a focus on the concepts of personality strength, situational specificity, and personality capabilities
