Course Content

The course aims at defining, identifying and differentiating multiple forms of addictions on the basis of a spectrum of criteria arranged from the psychiatric symptoms and psychological symptomatology to the psychic structures. The nature of addicted subject of jouissance and toxicity, relating the symptom to the underlying structure of the subject as a speaking being, unfolding the transference, the discourse of the analyst and establishing a change in the economy of jouissance will be reviewed.
