Course Content
Basic neurophysiological measures and their applications in Cognitive Science. Portable neurophysiological measurement modalities; functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) of brain and muscle tissue; electroencephalography (EEG); surface electromyography (EMG); electrooculogprahy (EOG); electrocardiogram (ECG); galvanic skin response (GSR). Basic neuroanatomical principles underlying optical and electrophysiological modalities. Applications in experimental and modeling cognitive science. including human-machine interaction. intelligent interfaces and social cognition.
