Brief description of the principles, techniques and limitations of Radiocarbon (C-14), Thermolumin-escence (TL), Electron Spin Resonance (ESR), Potassium/Argon, Uranium series, Fission Track, Obsidian Hydration and Varve Chronology. Structure determination and source identification of archaeological materials by lead Isotope, Instrumental Neutron Activation (INAA), Chemical, Microscopical, Petrographical, Radiographical, and X-ray Fluorescence Analyses. Non destructive testing techniques. Methods ofinvestigating the ancient technology. Methods of prospection. (F)
