Course Content
• Applications of Genetics and Population Genetics in Agricultural production systems.• Agricultural crop breeding (fruits, vegetables, legumes and cereals) livestock breeding (Fish, Poultry, Ovine, Bovine) biotechnologies as well as insects, and soil microbial applications
• Postharvest Biotechnology of Fruits and Vegetables
• Discussion of patents, commercialization of biotechnology products, processes and systems.
• Illustrations of the industrial and commercial biotechnology applications in agriculture.
