Understanding of the nature, ethics, scope, sources, and boundaries of research in the field of heritage studies as a transdisciplinary issue, examination of various methodologies used in the field of heritage studies; relationship and impacts of different disciplines (architecture, urban planning, sociology, etc.) on heritage studies; current research directions.
