Course Content
This course will provide students with an overview of key issues being discussed nowadays with respect to migration such as assimilaton, political transnationalism, remittances and the relationship between migration and development. It will examine them in the context of migration trends in Latin America with a focus on the arrival of Latin Americans to the United States in the last decades.
