Course Content
This course focuses on general appraisal of contemporary issues in South East Asia. Since South East Asia is only a sub-region, the issues will be evaluated within the general dynamics and understanding of the Asia-Pacific. The course will, first of all, give a general framework of understanding on the Asia-Pacific politico-economic and security institutions and how they interrelate. From this point, it will focus on South East Asian peculiar issues. The discussions will cover a wide variety of topics from the evolving institutional framework to the economic, social and security policies of the region.
