EMBA5501 QUANTITATIVE DECISION TOOLS FOR MANAGERS
Course Content
This is a course covering basic statistical concepts and methods useful in decision making in the business environment. Emphasis is put on descriptive and inferential tolls used in converting raw data into useful information; and on the use of statistical computer packages and interpretation of statistical results. The course also covers the most commonly used models/methods of Operations Research/Management Science. This course aims at introducing the students to some of the quantitative decision making tools that are highly applicable in solving practical problems faced everyday by managers.
