Course Content
This course examines the theory, research, and practice of formative assessment in foreign language education. It explores the effects of assessment for learning on learners' linguistic development, teaching practices, and lesson planning, as well as the factors that influence its implementation and effectiveness. Particular emphasis is placed on teacher feedback, peer and self-assessment, and on teachers' and learners' perceptions of formative assessment.
