Course Content
Governing equations for compressible inviscid flow; Normal and oblique shock waves;
Prandtl Meyer expansion waves; Compressible flow through nozzles and diffusers;
Subsonic compressible flow over airfoils; Linearized theory; Viscous flows; Separation and
stall; Boundary layer; Laminar boundary layers; Blasius solution. Effects of pressure
gradient; Integral methods; Turbulence; Turbulent boundary layers.
