Course Content

Pyrometallurgy, hydro metallurgy, electrometallurgy. Homogenous and heterogenous nucleation. Solidification of pure metals and alloys. Alloy theory. Interfaces, grain boundary segregation. Recovery, recrystallization, grain growth. Precipitation, precipitation transformations, solid-state nucleation, precipitation kinetics, coarsening.
