Course Content
Tectonic fabric. Deformation and strain. Strain-induced mineral growth in deformed rocks. Deformation of some rock-forming minerals and related microstructures. Shear zones and related deformation. Determination of shear sense in thin sections of oriented samples. Microcraks and their analyses using oriented samples. Reconstruction of the structure and metamorphic history of a volume of rock.
