Probabilistic bases for the design and evaluation of structural safety and reliability. Random occupancy, wind and earthquake loading, and of variability in material properties. Structural system reliability. Quantitative risk evaluation, systematic assessment and analysis of uncertainties, optimum design accounting for uncertainty and failure consequences.
