Introduction to the game; definitions and concepts related to play. educational play and gamification; game history. psychology and behavior theorems; player types; award types; types of entertainment; individual and group games; game elements; game mechanics; types of game flow and motivation; behavioral cycles and models; models of gamification (Werbach-Octalysis); gamification measurements; sample game applications; gamification designs in an educational subject with gamification cards.
