Course Content
This course aims to introduce qualitative research methods and trends widely used in research concerning elementary science, elementary mathematics, and early childhood education. Special attention to the growing literature about the use of qualitative research methods in these areas is given. Students gain in-depth understanding of epistemological base of theories in qualitative research and they are encouraged to develop skills and proficiency in understanding of the research strategies such as observation, interview and document analysis and use of them in doctorial studies and further research activities.
