Course Content

The course introduces the underlying concepts and principles of design in visual environments. Mainly two dimensional design and its basic definitions are given. Major concepts are: harmony, contrast, unity, colour, background, texture and order. By defining and applying these keywords to their own projects, students will be forming their own understanding of visual design.
