Definition, scope, and historical background of comparative education; research methods in comparative education; structural and functional characteristics of different educational systems; comparison of human resource management, finance, policy making, planning and implementation in different county contexts; social justice and equity issues in different educational systems; reform, change and innovation in different countries across the globe; comparison of teacher training and principal development approaches in different educational systems; international student tests; leading international organizations related to education.
