Designed to instruct foreign students in the rudiments of the Turkish language in terms of grammar. syntax and vocabulary. Basic characteristics of Turkish language: sounds. vowel and consonant harmonies. changes in consonants. nominal compounds. possessive suffixes. cases. the verb ´-imek´. basic tenses and modes. comparative and superlative. numerals. compound tenses. (course is for foreign students)
