Course Content
Introduction to Organic Chemistry. A newmechanistic approach to the study of chemical
reactions and survey of hydrocarbons, alcohols,
esters, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids (and
their derivatives), amines. The course emphasizes
the fundamental properties of organic compounds.
