Course Content
Offering advanced teaching on issues in and around the international law of the sea, the course requires a firm theoretical grounding in international legal theory and aims to give an opportunity for post-graduate students interested in the theme to do readings in the evolving state of the art of the area. Issues covered include internal waters, territorial sea, contiguous zone, exclusive economic zone, continental shelf, the high seas, the deep sea bed, maritime security, and weapons testing in international waters.
