Course Content

This course explores the determinants and consequences of migration/refugees from neo-classical and modern perspectives. Specific topics include the study of how immigrants are non-randomly selected from the population of the countries of origin, economic assimilation of migrants, and the impact of migration and refugee flows on the economics and labor markets of both receiving and sending countries. In addition, evidence-based migration policy will be discussed.
