Course Content
This course provides an advanced examination of research design. methodologies. and analytical techniques used in political science. Students will explore qualitative. quantitative. and mixed-method approaches. with emphasis on crafting rigorous research questions. evaluating scholarly literature. and applying ethical standards. Topics include hypothesis formulation. data collection (e.g.. surveys. experiments. case studies). statistical and interpretive data analysis. and academic writing for peer-reviewed publication. The course prepares students to design and execute original research for theses. dissertations. or policy analysis.
