Course Content
This course explores the dynamic relationship between human life and technology. focusing on how each continuously shapes and transforms the other. Drawing on a diverse range of philosophical traditions. both historical and contemporary. it begins with core philosophy of technology as well as key debates in technology ethics. The latter half delves into the rapidly developing field of Al ethics and adopts a multidisciplinary approach integrating perspectives from philosophy. Science and Technology Studies (STS) and sociology as well as insights from the emerging Al regulatory frameworks. The goal is to provide a holistic understanding of the complex ethical. societal. and policy-related challenges surrounding artificial intelligence today.
