Through close analysis of films and philosophical texts. we examine how film can express. challenge. and expand philosophical ideas about Ýdentity. ethics. time. reality. and power. Topics may Ýnclude subjectivity. gender and race. existentialism. aesthetics. and the ethics and politics of spectatorship. Films serve both as objects of analysis and as mediums that perform philosophy in their own rÝght.
