Mobile genetic elements and horizontal gene transfer in the environment. Microbial regulatory systems. new findings from metagenomes and transcriptomes. Diversity of small noncoding RNAs in prokaryotes. CRISPR in environmental context. (Meta)genome and transcriptome analysis techniques and approaches.
