Course Content
A course offered to senior students. focusing on terrestrial ecological methodology. Topics include measuring abiotic factors. use of maps and GIS. collecting and preserving specimens. using radio-telemetry. estimating abundance by mark-capture. and through quadrat and transect counts and estimating community parameters. Students are expected to work as a team on small projects in the field.
