Course Content
The course gives an introduction on bio-entrepreneurship. The students will be introduced with current trends in global bio-business opportunities and knowledge based bio-economy concept. Basics of legal requirements. intellectual property rights. regulatory environment. protection of ideas. funding opportunities to establish star-ups will be introduced. Important ventures in bio-business will be introduced. Business plan preparation and field visits to bio-based business facilities will be conducted.
